Today we are still in Moncton, Canada. We wait now 12 days for the parts from Switzerland. Today we decided that the parcel got lost on the way and will not arrive anymore. I ordered the parts again in Switzerland and organized an express delivery. We will see when they arrive! Today was a rainy day. We went shopping. There is a big outdoor shop here in Moncton. The picture shows the entrance area. The whole shop is decorated like this.

May 29 - 30, 2017

We had two other days in Moncton, Canada. The Swiss Post Company told me that the package should arrive on May 30. But it didn't arrive. We think we stay here forever! The picture shows the Mountain Road at which we live. Here are all shops we need and a lot of restaurants. We eat in another one every day.

May 25 - 28, 2017

In the meantime, we found out that the workshop in Switzerland sent the parts for our motorhome with a very slow carrier. We have now a tracking number. There I found out that the parts will arrive here in Moncton on May 30. This means we stay another five days here.

The last three days were cold and rainy. We couldn't do anything except shopping and go out to eat.

Today May 28 was a nice, warm and sunny day. We needed to go out to the fresh air. We went to visit the Magnetic Hill Zoo. There I took the picture of this Black Bear.

Today we stayed in Moncton. The parts for our motor home didn't arrive until now. I add here a picture I made two days ago. The wave which comes up the river when the tide turns was much stronger as last time when we were there. There was even a stand-up paddler who let himself drive upwards the river.

Today we stayed at Moncton and took the bus to go into the city. Here can a natural phenomenon be seen. Moncton is about 35 km away from the Fundy Bay where the tidal difference between high and low water is the largest in the world (can be 16 meters). In Moncton in the Petitcodiac River, the difference is only 2 to 3 meters. And two times a day a wave come up the river when the tide turns. The monument is in the Tidal Bore Park, where people watch the wave come up the river.. By the way, at our motorhome, the Clutch Slave Cylinder is broken. The car workshop couldn't find such a part in North America. I'll try to get it over from Europe now. This means we got stuck in Moncton for maybe another week. Therefore we rent a car and drive some days around New Brunswick.

This worked out fine and everything seems to be OK again.

Today we could pick up our mobile home at the port. All the paper works we had to do prior to this worked like a charm. In about 1.5 hours the whole business was done.
